如何画 Sword Guard Stance 姿势

The mannequin holds no weapon, so the first job is to draw the missing sword. Both hands wrap the hilt in front of the navel, the right hand above the left, and the blade extends from there up and forward until the tip lines up with an opponent's throat. Rule that line in before anything else; the angle of the forearms only makes sense once the blade exists.

The body behind it is calm and organised. The right foot sits slightly forward, the left heel lifts off the floor like a loaded spring, and both knees stay soft. Unlike a boxing guard, the hips face the opponent squarely, the back stays straight and the eyes look ahead rather than down at the sword. The elbows bend gently, so the arms make a relaxed triangle with the chest that narrows to the hands. The head sits at about 161 cm and the centre of mass at about 106 cm, balanced between the two feet with no lean.

The side view is the one to trust for the weapon: it shows the blade angle, the distance between hands and belly, and the raised left heel in profile. The front view foreshortens the sword almost to a point aimed at the camera, which is dramatic but hard to draw convincingly, so start from the three-quarter view, where blade, hands and the stagger of the feet are all legible. From the back you can check the lifted heel and the straight spine. A low angle makes the guard look intimidating; a high angle makes it look composed and patient.

Watch for hands drawn apart on the hilt or raised to chest height, elbows locked straight, and feet set side by side; each turns a trained guard into someone holding a stick. The stance fits kendo practice, samurai duels, anime standoffs, a knight with a longsword or any fantasy fighter waiting for the first move. In Edit this pose, lift both hands above the forehead for an upper guard, or add a mirrored second figure to set up two swordsmen facing each other across the frame.
